How to Apply for a Grant

NNCF focuses its grants primarily on organizations in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and in Israel and the Middle East.

Timetable for Grant Review

First time applicants

Type of organization LOI deadline Proposal Due Final Notification
Environment July 1 August 15 September
Human Services/Civic Affairs October 1 November 15 December
Health Care/Human Services January 2 February 15 March
Israel/Jewish April 1 May 15 June

All deadlines are postmark deadlines. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the postmark deadline is the following business day.

Due to our limited staff, we are unable to accept proposals and letters of inquiry by email, fax, Federal Express, or messenger.

Returning applicants

Timetable for proposals for continued support:
