The Foundation’s health-related grantmaking focuses on teen pregnancy prevention, reproductive choice, and providing family planning medical services locally for at-risk women and teens. The Foundation supports local and national teen pregnancy prevention programs that promote and offer research-based, realistic and comprehensive sexuality education for teenage girls and boys.

Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health www.prch.org Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health is a national network of pro-choice physicians who work to ensure that all people have the knowledge, access to quality services, and freedom to make their own reproductive health decisions. Planned Parenthood Federation of America www.plannedparenthood.org Planned Parenthood Federation of America works to reduce the incidence of teen and unintended pregnancy, expand access to reproductive health services and technologies, and mobilize grassroots participation needed to change policies, trends, attitudes and behaviors. Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington www.ppmw.org Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington supports and advocates for the right of every person to make responsible, informed reproductive health choices and provides low-income, at-risk teens, women, and men with confidential reproductive and preventive health care and education services. Teen and Young Adult Health Connection www.connectwithteens.com Teen and Young Adult Health Connection (TAYA Health) provides free/low cost reproductive health care and education to female and male youth and young adults in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Unity Health Care www.unityhealthcare.org Unity Health Care offers a citywide network of quality health and human services to the medically underserved regardless of race, ethnic background or ability to pay. *Washington AIDS Partnership www.washingtongrantmakers.org/wg/home.asp The Washington AIDS Partnership encourages local philanthropy to become involved in HIV/AIDS grantmaking through locally-based community partnerships and matching grants. The Partnership has granted over $14 million to over 130 organizations that work on HIV/AIDS prevention, education and service programs. * NNCF makes a limited number of board-directed grants to pre-selected organizations. |
